The breathtaking Edale valley and surrounding moorlands offers the perfect balance of challenge and accessibility with endless options for routes and areas to explore. You will see moorland wildlife, train wrecks, ancient hill forts, pack horse routes and quaint villages.
Our first day will be spent in the Edale Valley where we can bring the team together to create expedition aims and the planning of routes. We will also have the opportunity to head out into the hills to refresh on last minute hints and tips to ensure your success. On the evening of Day 1 you’ll have the opportunity to socialise with your new team and if you choose to, head to one of the local pubs for your evening meal. Day 2 is when your qualifying expedition begins. Your instructors will supervise and mentor you through the experience, aiming to make sure you don’t just “pass” but you excel in the environment, develop new skills and create some amazing memories.

What is included?
- All training and expedition guidance, route planning and instruction.
- All group expedition kit e.g., tents, cookers, fuel, first aid kits, map’s etc.
- The provision of accommodation as detailed in the itinerary
- Provision of qualified and experienced instructors, pastoral support and 24-hour emergency back up support in case of emergencies
- A pre-expedition training session for the whole group via Teams/ Zoom etc.
