Gold Walking – Qualifying Expedition

The breathtaking Edale valley and surrounding moorlands offers the perfect balance of challenge and accessibility with endless options for routes and areas to explore.
Our first day will be spent in the Edale Valley where we can bring the team together to create expeditions aims, route and plans. We will also have the opportunity to head out into the hills to top you up with last minute hints and tips to ensure your success. The evening of Day 1 you’ll have the opportunity to socialise with your new team and if you choose to, head to one of the great local pubs for your evening meal. Day 2 is when you’re qualifying expedition begins. Your instructors will supervise and mentor you though the experience aiming to make sure you don’t just “pass” but you excel in the environment, develop new skills and create some amazing memories.
Expedtion Summary, Inclusions and Itinerary
What is included?
- All training and expedition guidance, route planning and instruction.
- All group expedition kit e.g., tents, cookers, fuel, first aid kits, map’s etc.
- The provision of accommodation as detailed in the itinerary
- Provision of qualified and experienced instructors, pastoral support and 24-hour emergency back up support in case of emergencies
- A pre-expedition training session for the whole group via Teams/ Zoom etc.

- Expedition food (unless purchased as an optional extra)
- Transport to and from the agreed start/finish point.
- Personal belongings insurance or cancelation insurance
- Provision of individual equipment specified in the personal kit list (unless purchased as an optional extra)
