The stunning Great Glen Way offers endless options for upland and lowland routes through passes, around Lochs and over summits.
Our first day will be spent near Fort William where we can bring the team together to create expedition aims and plan some routes. We will also have the opportunity to head out into the hills to go through last minute hints and tips to ensure your success. The evening of Day 1 you’ll have the opportunity to socialise with your new team and if you choose, head into Fort William for your evening meal. Day 2 is when your qualifying expedition begins. Your instructors will supervise and mentor you through the experience, aiming to make sure you don’t just “pass” but you excel in the environment, develop new skills and create some amazing memories.
Expedition Summary, Inclusions and Itinerary
What is included?
- All training and expedition guidance, route planning and instruction.
- All group expedition kit e.g., tents, cookers, fuel, first aid kits, map’s etc.
- The provision of accommodation as detailed in the itinerary
- Provision of qualified and experienced instructors, pastoral support and 24-hour emergency back up support in case of emergencies.
- A pre-expedition training session for the whole group via Teams/ Zoom etc.
